Which lifts can be installed without a pit?

Conventional elevators normally don’t fit in a private house as the elevator requires a safety pit under the elevator and a big space for the machine room above or next to the elevator.

Home lifts like SWIFT are designed differently and are made for homes where space is limited. The lift can be installed right on the floor, the machine room is built in, and there is no need for any space above the lift.

Other brands that use the same “platform lift” solution as SWIFT, thus can be installed right on the floor, are disability lifts from Cibes, Aritco, Kalea and Barduva.
