How Does It Work with a Pit?
Conventional Elevators require safety space under the elevator and generous space above for the machine room. In commercial buildings this is normally no problems, but in private homes this is of course not so easy. If a person is building a new house then it can be adjusted, but in existing houses this extra space can make installation difficult, requiring costly renovations or structural changes.
SWIFT has therefor been designed to avoid these space requirements. Our home elevator can be installed directly on the floor with a small ramp or in a 50 mm pit to make the door flush with the floor. SWIFT flexible design allows elevators to be integrated seamlessly into homes, offering both convenience and modern aesthetics without compromising on safety or function.
