Can I Have a Lift for My House?

SWIFT is specifically designed to fit into most multi-floors homes with a minimum space requirement of only 1366×880 mm (see all our home lift sizes here). Various design options allow you to find a home lift that smoothly blends into your home and interior decoration style. A SWIFT home lift adds style and character to your home.

Routine Inspections

The home lift can be installed directly on the floor or recessed with a pit of only 50 mm. It can be freestanding with fixtures on each floor, installed against a wall or be installed in the middle of a staircase. Thanks to the special EcoDrive system the energy consumption is very low and installation will be made with normal 1-phase 220V (8A) power. But you Must know the basic requirement and cost before installing a lift in your home.

The lift is made for indoor environment, but some semi-outdoor installations are possible.

Key Consideration Before Installing Elevator:

1. Space Availability

Determine where the lift will be installed—inside the house, outside, or in a shaft. Check if your property can need a pitless lift or if a pit and machine room are required.

2. Type of Lift

Choose between traction, hydraulic, or screw-driven lifts. Traction lifts (like SWIFT) are quiet, energy-efficient, and offer smooth operation—ideal for residential use.

3. Safety Features

Look for lifts with emergency stop buttons, battery backup, door sensors, overload protection, and automatic rescue systems. Certified brands like SWIFT meet strict European safety standards.

4. Maintenance and Service

Choose a brand with reliable after-sales support and regular maintenance services. This ensures the elevator runs smoothly and safely for years.
