What is the maintenance cost?
In comparison to conventional elevators SWIFT requires very little service and maintenance. For optimal performance of your home lift we recommend 1 service visit/year. During the visit we review the lift performance, upgrade software and change wear and tear items like oil and belts.
When buying from SWIFT UK, the first 1 year of service and maintenance is included for free. After the first 1 year the Service- and Maintenance can be extended at additional cost (see below). With a Service and Maintenance package you can be assured that we are monitoring your lift and that you can call us at any time if there is a problem. SWIFT offers three levels of Service and Maintenance Packages:
Standard:

- Remote monitoring and diagnosis
- Preventive maintenance
- Emergency call outs

- 1.050 GBP/year
- 1 visit per year with a 27-point check and free oil
- Remote monitoring and diagnosis
- Preventive maintenance
- Emergency call outs
- Repairs (parts and labor)
- Condition report
- 1.550 GBP/year
- Replacement of batteries if lift has been used outside the guidelines set out in the user manual
- Faded paint
- Damage caused by abuse, abnormal use, accident, alteration, or removal of parts
- Damage due to operation of the lift in a manner inconsistent with the recommended operation and duty-cycle
- Damage caused by the use of an accessory or part that was not manufactured, sold, or tested by SWIFT
- Damage caused by operation with own oils, or lubricants, that are not suitable for use with the lift
